This brace is exactly what I was hoping to find. It is comfortable to use and not bulky or pinching. I have pain in both knees and difficulty going up steps without pain. With my itband it helps reduce pain tremendously and I am able to be active longer and in more places than I have been able to for a long time.
I wear this band every time I walk. It helps keep knee stable. Don’t even know it’s on.
I’m very happy, it is helping so much
I am still not sure of how theses bandz work but they do! I wear them everyday for my daily walk and have noticed the pain in my knees has significantly decreased. Highly recommend you give them a try!
I am always the doubting Thomas when it comes to medical devices that make promises. Being disabled and in chronic pain, I still try to live. So while fishing the other day I took a trrribly nasty slip into the water. I couldnt walk for days, and although my IT band was on the mend. I was worse for the wear. My dad shot me a link to a couple products and not being rich I opted for yhe ITz Band becuase if it was a 1/4 true, it'd at least not be in as much pain. 26 days after strapping this thing on, I'm dumbfounded. Mind you, I have a 200 patellar knee brace from another company and it does not hold a candle to the ITzBand. I have 2 versions and I prefer the black color of the band over the blue stone color of the band because it feels beefier, both are the second gen ITz Band. They aren't paying me to write this either, although a free band would be nice, lol.
Use of a special neoprene provides a comfortable wearing experience.
The fastening system lets you easily adjust and control the amount of tension that the band provides you so that you can get the stability and support that is right for you.
The molded rubber insert piece mirrors the natural structure of the knee
Physical therapists love how itBandz assist in protecting your knee joints / kneecaps from stress and strain - so you can stay active and mobile.
itBandz effectively alleviate the discomfort caused by IT Band Syndrome, tendonitis, arthritis, Osgood Schlatters, other chronic knee issues due to excess weight, previous surgeries, a torn or thinning meniscus, and ACL, hip or ankle injuries.
If you suffer from arthritis and thinning cartilage (bone on bone) the tension from itBandz allows the internal support piece to gently lift the patella and act as an additional shock absorber for the knee.
The knee joint is a hinge and should only track forward and backward. Lateral motion can be introduced when tendons and ligaments get injured or overly tight from IT Band Syndrome. When these happen, the knee is pulled out of alignment and requires the additional stability provided by itBandz.
If you have tendonitis, the compression on the patellar tendon reduces strain on the tendon and allows it to heal while easing pain and reducing inflammation.
