The Bandz have helped me very much. I get the perfect support for my knees.
Purchased for wife, she doesn't like them. 😥
Not sure when I ordered my last set but I hadn't used in awhile and had that awful bone on bone on my leg again thought I need to find my it bandz. Couldn't find them at first and ordered another type and wore them one day and they were not the same as my it bandz. I am ordering 2 more sets so I have extras and if I go out without mine on I have a set at work. Even though the band is narrow it puts less pressure on my skin than the wider ones you see. Stays where I need it to be. My first set the velcro is not holding as strong but when I wore them before I wore them every day. At first I wear at night even to adjust my knee cap to stay up where it belongs and I don't have pain when getting out of bed and stepping onto the leg.
I like that it fits snug under ur knee altho does not support me in the way I need but a great product
Use of a special neoprene provides a comfortable wearing experience.
The fastening system lets you easily adjust and control the amount of tension that the band provides you so that you can get the stability and support that is right for you.
The molded rubber insert piece mirrors the natural structure of the knee
Physical therapists love how itBandz assist in protecting your knee joints / kneecaps from stress and strain - so you can stay active and mobile.
itBandz effectively alleviate the discomfort caused by IT Band Syndrome, tendonitis, arthritis, Osgood Schlatters, other chronic knee issues due to excess weight, previous surgeries, a torn or thinning meniscus, and ACL, hip or ankle injuries.
If you suffer from arthritis (bone on bone) the itBandz internal support piece acts as an additional shock absorber for the knee.
The knee joint is a hinge and should only track forward and backward. Lateral motion can be introduced when tendons and ligaments get injured or overly tight from IT Band Syndrome. When these happen, the knee is pulled out of alignment and requires the stability provided by itBandz.
If you have tendonitis, the compression on the patellar tendon reduces strain on the tendon and allows it to heal while easing pain and reducing inflammation.
